In this interactive Public Policy & Advocacy workshop, participants will explore the foundations of public policy, its impact on communities, and the difference between public policy and law. Using real-world examples, we’ll illustrate how policies are enacted and discuss the distinction between advocacy and lobbying. Attendees will also learn the key elements of building an effective advocacy plan. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and strategies needed to engage effectively in local and state policy-making processes.
